Another busy week, or at least it felt like it was... My class ended for this quarter on Friday, we will be on Zoom for Winter Term, but my supervisor asked if we would like to be in-person Spring Term if he can find a place for us to meet. He hopes we will be able to meet at the place we met before the pandemic shutdown. I liked that facility, so I hope it will be our location if we actually get to met in-person. Before I told him to go ahead, I talked to my class. Since almost everyone is older I wanted to make sure they would feel safe. They agreed they'd like to meet in person, but if Covid numbers spike they want to meet virtually. So, that is what I told my supervisor. This coming week I need to meet with the IT folks at LBCC and see if they can help me figure out our new option for recording classes, and the proposed new way to sign into class. It's times such as this when I have written instructions and can't figure them out that are frustrating.
My last class for my own writing class is December 9th. I don't plan to present anything because my focus right now is trying to get my home in order and sewing Christmas gifts. I am going to have some help with the home organization, but the sewing is up to me. Our writing instructor likes meeting virtually, so we will continue to meet on Zoom.
Yesterday my daughter Bryn and I went shopping for Thanksgiving at Costco. We also stopped at Kohl's and I got a few warmer tops. I have bought things online during the pandemic and not been pleased with what I received. I know I won't wear them enough to keep them, so I'll end up giving them away. I really like shopping in person so much better.
Teresa, I love the photos you post on FB of your food and drink. I wish I was inspired to do more for my meals, but I really just don't enjoy cooking. I do enough to stay on program and that's about it. What is the recipe for the warm evening drink you posted, and how many points? It looked so good!!!
Well, time to get busy again. Take care, hope you have delicious plans for Thanksgiving. Kathy, I hope you already had a delicious Thanksgiving.
Take care, Judy
