Good morning, I have a small request to everyone, please. I have tried fixing the problem but there is not an option on premade formats. I can barely read the text when left as is, so if you wouldnt mind, hitting the font size and make it at least a 4 when making your post. It is right at the top. Thank you, my poor old eyes greatly appreciate it.

I could not hate winter any more if I tried. This is just complete and utter nonsense.

Judy I just checked your weather, you are 22 degrees warmer than us. Still freezing on your part though, I say we all boycott winter.

Yes, let's boycott winter. We are sitting and waiting for the worst winter storm in recent history. Pretty much the town is shutting down. Lots of closures scheduled for Friday. I brought in both my hummingbird feeders tonight because they were already frozen at 6 this evening. It never warmed up. We are going to begin to have longer daylight hours. I'm really looking forward to that. Stay warm! Take care, Judy

Slip sliden’ away…The weather outside is icy and we are not going anyplace. We hope by tomorrow the temps will go up and the ice will be gone. Fortunately, except for the three packages that will be sent after Christmas…on one of the 12 days of Christmas… the packages are on their way, or wrapped for the family get together tomorrow afternoon. The predicted ice storm arrived and I did all the away from home errands by early afternoon yesterday before it descended. Our yard is beautiful! The branches are coated with ice and look like abstract art. I am keeping a close eye on the hummingbird feeders because the temps are so cold that the sugar water freezes after awhile and another feeder with unfrozen sugar water needs to be put out.
Hope you don’t have anywhere to go. Sending warm wishes to you.
Merry Christmas! Take care, Judy

Nothing exciting to report. It warmed up some today so we were able to go play. I went back to Bimart today to get a bowl that I saw and fell in love with. It is my most favorite dish that I own. When I went back, I didnt see it and I thought it was gone and i was so sad. Then I found it, people in line were talking about what a nice bowl it is hahaha. Doesnt take much to make me happy.
Hard to believe tomorrow is Christmas eve. I didnt quite get into the spirit of it this year.
We are making Nachos for our Christmas dinner.
I hope everyone has a blessed day.
Ginny, I sure hope you are doing well. We miss you very much.

Red Rover, Red Rover, Send Ginny right over.
Wow, almost 2023. Lets hope this new year brings happier times and good people into our lives and we all continue on a healthier journey. That being said I have certainly packed on the holiday pounds and it will take some time and determination to undo the damage I have done. I just never seem to learn.

I keep hoping that I will check the thread and see a post from Ginny. I did some checking and saw that according to the thread her last post was September 4th and she was last online on October 30. When we didn't hear from her after a while I sent some emails with no response. I wish we knew if she is okay.
This has happened before, but never with one of our longtime friends without explanation. Teresa and Kathy, you, along with Ginny, have been on the longest, and I joined before Brody was born. We have had a few folks come and go often without explanation, but at least person who was on the thread for a long time let us know she was leaving.
I hope Ginny is okay. I know we all are missing her.
Kathy, I hope you are better.
Teresa, I hope you are keeping warm.
May the new year be kind and a good one for all of us.
Take care, Judy

I I Don't know how to change it to #4. It doesn't give me the option.
I went back to work on December 27. My last day was Dec 15. I supposedly get short term disability. So will see what happens. I also found that there was a glitch in my medical. I asked the pharmacy and they said it was declined. I never phoned HR or did anything. When I went on disability they said that they would look into the problem. Seems there was an upgrade and my numbers didn't get it. Not a good answer. Anyways, its suppose to work.
I still have a cough. I don't cough very often but it's still there. My eyes don't want to focus so possibly that's something I need to look into too. I've missed place close to 10 pounds since I came back in from the Island. So hopefully, it doesn't remember where I live. I guess I need to make an appointment with my Doctor and get checked out. I have no sleep pattern anymore. I fall asleep on the couch and then when I was off was up at 5 or 6 in the morning. This past week I've had shifts all over. midnight to 8:30 and 4am - 12:30 and midnight to 8:30a. My body doesn't know if it has arrived or what.
My youngest son phoned me quite often when I had COVID. He was glad that I didn't get as ill as he did. It was great to hear from him and his advice for what to do and eat. My other son said I was going to see them after Christmas. Haven't seen anything of them. No pictures either. I have a stash of stuff sitting in the entrance way waiting for them. I have a wooden puzzle with dinosaurs that's too heavy to mail along with other stuff. I won some pancake/waffle mix along with some other stuff. I bought some maple syrup to go with it along with some seedlings that they can plant in the spring. Just a bunch of stuff. Will see what happens.
It's warmed up here. My computer is back to F. and it says 28F. It's been foggy and cool but nothing like it was around Christmas. I was happy to not have to go out when it was -42F. I just looked out the windows and smiled.
Have no plans for New Year's. Don't work until Monday at midnight. Lots of sorting and getting ready for the big changeover that happens on Thursday, Hopefully it works out good.
Does Judy have Ginny's phone number? I thought that she had visited her awhile ago. I could be wrong.
Hope everyone is keeping warm!
Hugs Kathy

I talked to Ginny on the phone today. She is doing good and she sounds really good. She is still having issues with her new computer she bought, I am hoping she can find her way here but if not she can send me her post and I will post it.
We rained all day, I took Brody to open his checking account and the dog and I went and played in the rain at the church.
Over the holidays I ate like Shaggy and scooby and put on 10 pounds. I am back trying to get myself under control. So I guess we know who found your 10 pounds Kathy.
Kathy, right above the place where you type your post on the left hand side, it says font face and font size, click on the little arrow on the font size. A window will drop down and you can pick a number. But Christmas is over so I will be changing this.
