Blueberry lemon cinnamon rolls made with 2 ingredient dough and dipped in SF coolwhip. They are delicious. I will be making them again.

Ladies, Sorry I’ve been absent for so long. I’ve been planting flowers, although just in big pots this year, all on my deck. It is quite hot here, and I am stuck in the house with the air on. And we have been having dreadful rains, which Tux and Boo really hate. They spend half the day and night hiding in a closet. I’m waiting for the people who are going to redo my deck get a move on and to get busy. The deck is in bad condition—when I walk across in some places it feels like it is going to cave in. When they finally do get here, I hope Spotty, my outside feral kitty will be able to adjust to having noise and people around, not to mention having to help him find a safe place to eat, since he usually spends a part of his day eating on the deck and napping on the benches.
Kathy, I’ve never heard of a video X-ray, but I hope they were able to figure out what was causing the pain. Good luck with the Gallbladder surgery. It seems like you are having a string of bad luck with your health. And I’ve never been to Puerta Vallarta, but February sounds like a good time to spend some time in a tropical place. Hope you have enough points to make it a free trip. It sounds like you will be quite busy with work on your home. So what are you going to do for the color in the bathroom? I too have an almond tub….it is really an ugly color, so I tried to just ignore it when I did the rest of the bathroom in blue to go with the wallpaper, which is an underwater design with fish and other watery things. I didn’t match the trim on the doorway well, and every time I use that bathroom I think about repainting it, but so far I haven’t. Blues are very hard to match. And I’m lazy to boot.
Judy you sound so busy as usual. I don’t think my drawers full of old family photos will ever get sorted. I have no idea who many of the people are, and there is no one after me who will care, they will probably just be thrown away, so what’s the point? I probably should go through them and just take out the few I do know and put them in a scrapbook. There is a photo of me as a baby, maybe 2 years old, holding my arms out and my grandmother’s cat draped over them, his feet touching the ground on either side. I should have it enlarged and hang it with the rest of my kitty pictures. I do seem to have fewer birds than usual this summer, but I haven’t seen any dead ones so I am hopeful as some of the birds that are showing up seem to be coming in family groups with parents showing the young ones how to use my feeders. It must be about time for your daughter’s visit. Hope you have a good visit.
Teresa, those rolls do look great. How do you keep from eating the whole plate full? I have managed to lose about 7 lbs. Hope I don’t find them again. Still a long way to go. You know I think maintaining (at a better weight than I’m at) is a good thing. It is hard to think about meal planning like you seem to do a good job with, so congratulations on keeping it up for so long. Does having Chibbs company make it any easier? I think I would be quite lonely without my two inside kitties.
Take care, and keep cool! Hugs, Ginny

Ginny, I DID eat the whole plate full, the whole plate was a serving size haha.
We finally made it to two miles on our walk today, first time. It did something to me, I came home and deep cleaned my house, washed and changed my bedding, swept and mopped, cleaned the windows and frames, vacuumed the couches, washed all the knick knacks dusted, then danced for about an hour, Made dinner, did dishes, took chibs to the church field and played for over an hour, came home made Brody something to eat, did dishes again AND NOW....I feel like I have been ran over. I dont know where the energy came from. It was wonderful but I think I am going to pay for it.
