Teresa, Chibs dog-birthday party looked like fun on the Facebook posts. Pup pie is a new one for me.
Tomorrow is my last class and I'm ready for the break. The class went much more smoothly than I had imagined it would, and I hope some of the new class members decide to take the class in the fall. I did get permission to skip a week and still get in the eight weeks needed for the class. I am going to Arizona in October to visit Kylee. I will see her in September when she comes for my granddaughter Bridget's wedding, but this will be a longer stay and I'll get to see her new home and the area where she lives.
In a little less than three weeks I'll be headed for Boston and my conference in Beverly, MA about 50 miles from Boston. Then after a day and a half in Boston after the conference I'm going to Tennessee to visit my friend Sue. There's all kinds of things going on in the next 2+ weeks so I'm trying to figure out the stuff I need to pack a bit at a time.
Just thought I'd check in. Hope all is well with everyone.
Take care, Judy

I have Saturday and Sunday off. I went to the theatre last night the production was Clue. It was very well done and I was totally into it. I was quite surprised at the ending. It was very fascinating. My cousin and her husband joined me. They waited too long to get tickets so their seats were separated which they didn't mind. The seats that they could of got together were at the back of the theatre and my seat was in the 3rd roll. We went for Greek food before and it was good. Then we drove downtown to the theatre.
I bought tickets for me and a friend. When I reminded them they came back with something about their son moving to Cranbrook and having to help drive a vehicle. Wasn't really impressed at the late cancelation. I phoned three more friends and they were all busy so am going by myself to the Maverick movie. It's a previewing of the movie and one has to be there by 10 am as that's when the show is.
My sister was here on and off for 10 days. She went to her reunion and was gone for the weekend. Then she visited some friends and had lunch and dinner with them. She returned her rental car Wednesday and sat at the airport til I finished work and picked her up. We then went to T & T, a oriental supermarket and bought live crabs and some shrimp. We then visited my parents and sister graves and came home. It was cheaper to buy the crab and cook it then to go to a restaurant. She was going to take me to Red Lobster but we decided to cook the crab instead. Was a nice meal and I finally got my new picture hung. Fran took the bus to Edmonton then joined my niece and her husband on their journey to Mismark North Dakota . My niece's grandson was being baptized. They drove home on Monday and my sister caught her plane to Nanaimo late in the evening. She said it was over a hour late leaving. Need to wash the bedding and towels and vacuum the area so the next visitor can visit when ever that is.
I got my Ipad and haven't got it going yet. I bought the link cord but haven't done anything yet.
I booked some time off but can't remember the exact dates. Senior moment there. I believe I am going to visit my youngest son in September but will have to check the dates. I think I booked a weekend off in August but could be wrong.
Other then working I really haven't been doing much. Just making a mess at home and then having to clean it up. Sleeping and working. I did get the tear duct unblocked and have to go back in a year to have it looked at. Possibly that could be one of the reasons why that eye is the eye that gets infected frequently during the year.
Hope you're all well!
Hugs Kathy

The rain is back, but it's not cold, and the flowers are beautiful. I will take the rain if it means that maybe wildfires won't happen.
My last class was Friday, and my students must have enjoyed the class because they made plans to get together in a park every two weeks. Wouldn't you know I have appointment for the first scheduled one, but if I can't change it, I think I might be able to get there towards the end.
I needed to go through my clothes and get rid of things I don't wear. I did go through all my tops (t-shirt style) and got rid of a bunch. I tried everything on, and if it didn't fit or feel right, it went into the donate pile. It felt good to sort and make room. It is still obvious to me that I need to make more "get rid of" decisions, but that's for another day.
Meanwhile I have been trying to get ready to make my trip in mid-June. We have a banquet at the conference and I always try to take one dressy outfit. This morning I figured it out and decide that would also be a good outfit to wear to my granddaughter's wedding in September. It's nice but not super fancy. Guys won't be wearing suits so I think this outfit will be fine. After all the sorting, I have MANY tops to choose from. I know it will be hot so I'm trying to think "cool".
Kathy, it sounds as if you have been enjoying time and activities with family. My daughter Bryn and I went shopping on Tuesday and I spent the rest of the week trying to figure out what day of the week it was--this is usually a Saturday activity'; however, Bryn is now starting her own business so she has a more flexible time schedule. Last night the two of us went to an event at the new museum in Corvallis to celebrate Historic Preservation Week. I got to show Bryn around since she hadn't been to the new museum. Her great-great grandfather's broad axe is on display in the Benton County history section.
Time to close, hope everyone is doing well. Take care, Judy
